Our customer is active in the commissioning and de-commissioning in the petrochemical industry. This application is for a permanent engagement after a period of secondment.
 
 
Position description
  • Reports to the Client representative for Project Completion
  • Coordinates with the complete project organization to archive smooth project completion
  • Functional reports to the customer Project Completion Specialist (or manager)
 
Responsibilities
  • Is owner of the project completion software Co-Console for the designated project
  • Is owner of the Project completion procedure as agreed upon for the project
  • Assists and advises the contractors, vendors and client organization as per project completion procedure.
  • Provides statistical data and reports as required to the organisation
  • Coordinates within the project Completion procedure for processing status, back scans and retention on:
    • Turnover documentation for approval and Completion acceptance
    • As-built documentation as required for project completion
    • Punch listing
    • All QA/QC related documents
 
Basic skills and experience
  • Knowledge on the computer applications specific: Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Outlook (MS Office 2003 minimal), Adobe Acrobat 7 professional and databases in general.
  • Experience with technical documentation control minimal 5 years.
  • The English language, speaking and writing.
  • Technical education, engineer level.
  • Administrative tasks as filing and electronic document processing.
  • Multi discipline Turnover / QC engineering& manuals, experience minimum 3 years
·       Project systemizations in process systems, utility and infra structure systems
·       Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Startup Operations activities as P&ID Check, punch listing.
·       Multi discipline mechanical Completions Checks, Leak/Pressure testing piping/equipment & instrumentation, Cable testing, loop testing etc..
·       Checking out Piping/Mechanical/Instrumentation and Process Systems for Pre-Commissioning
·       Commissioning and Start-up. Flushing and Steam Blowing and Chemical Cleaning Run in of Rotating Equipment.
  • Oversee and ensure all installation and testing complies with Client/Vendor requirements
 
Required education
  • Safety for Operational Supervisors SCC (VCA Vol)
  • Vapro A/B
  • MS windows XP regular user
  • MS office and access regular user.
  • Co-Console or WinPCS / Complete IT Power user
 
Required application experience
  • Minimum experience MS application 3 years
  • Minimum experience Project Completion System 1 year
